Lewis Hamilton posted a stunning lap time to take pole position in tomorrow’s Singapore Grand Prix ahead of the Williams of Pastor Maldonado. All the talk about Lewis Hamilton may have been about a move to Mercedes this week, but under the lights at Singapore today it was all about his stunning lap that captured pole position for tomorrow’s race. Hamilton posted a time of 46:362 to take pole – his third pole in four races – almost half a second in front of second place man Pastor Maldonado in the Williams.

Want to know what it feels like to hit 1000mph? This is our first look inside the cockpit of the Bloodhound SSC, the new supersonic rocket challenger looking to set a new world land speed record. The Bloodhound SSC's cabin is cramped and looks more like the cockpit of a Eurofighter jet than a car.
If ever you wanted to get to know someone--I mean really get to know them--spend the better part of six days in a car, just the two of you. I would not suggest it as a job-interviewing tactic, but perhaps a portion of that time might get HR approval. Tommy Kendall is a fascinating young man.
